Emerson, Lake & Palmer była brytyjską progresywno-rockową supergrupą założoną w Londynie w 1970 roku. Trio tworzyli Keith Emerson (instrumenty klawiszowe), Greg Lake (gitara basowa, gitara, wokal) i Carl Palmer (perkusja), a ich styl muzyczny obejmował adaptacje muzyki klasycznej z elementami jazzu i rocka symfonicznego.
Album Black Moon ukazał się w remasterowanej wersji na 2 CD. Pierwszy dysk zawiera dziesięć studyjnych utworów z oryginalnego albumu wraz z bonusowymi wersjami Black Moon, Affairs of the Heart, Paper Blood i Romeo and Juliet. Drugie CD oferuje koncertowe nagrania z Royal Albert Hall, wśród których znalazły się klasyczne utwory zespołu takie jak Tarkus, Lucky Man czy Fanfare for the Common Man.
