Erasure to brytyjski duet synthpopowy założony w 1985 roku, w którego skład wchodzą wokalista Andy Bell oraz klawiszowiec Vince Clarke, wcześniej współzałożyciel Depeche Mode i duetu Yazoo. Od połowy lat 80. należą do najbardziej utytułowanych przedstawicieli gatunku, w 1989 roku zdobyli Brit Award za najlepszą brytyjską grupę.
Album The Neon Remixed ukazał się w 2021 roku nakładem wytwórni Mute jako dwupłytowe CD zawierające 18 utworów. Zawiera zremiksowane wersje piosenek z repertuaru zespołu w wykonaniu producentów takich jak Hifi Sean, Kim Ann Foxman, Octo Octa, Theo Kottis czy Paul Humphreys. Wśród wyróżnionych utworów znajdziemy Secrets, Hey Now (Think I Got a Feeling), Nerves of Steel czy Kid You're Not Alone w różnorodnych extended miksach i dubach.
