Flight 666: The Original Soundtrack ukazał się na winylu w 2009 roku nakładem wytwórni Parlophone jako oryginalny soundtrack do dokumentu o trasie Somewhere Back in Time World Tour. W trakcie tej trasy w 2008 roku zespół odbył 23 występy na pięciu kontynentach, przebył prawie 70 tysięcy kilometrów, a cały maraton koncertowy zajął zaledwie 45 dni. Podwójny album oferuje 17 nagrań na żywo z klasycznego repertuaru — otwiera Churchill's Speech i Aces High z Bombaju, następnie 2 Minutes to Midnight, The Trooper, The Number of the Beast, trzynastoipółminutowy Rime of the Ancient Mariner czy finałowe Hallowed Be Thy Name z Toronto. Każdy utwór nagrany jest w innym mieście i opatrzony datą i miejscem nagrania — powstaje w ten sposób dźwiękowa mapa światowej trasy.
Na albumie zagrali Steve Harris (gitara basowa, wokal wspierający, instrumenty klawiszowe), perkusista Nicko McBrain i gitarzysta Janick Gers.
