Album It's About Time ukazał się we wrześniu 2018 roku nakładem wytwórni Virgin EMI Records. To pierwszy studyjny album Chic od ponad dwóch dekad i pierwsza płyta wydana bez współzałożyciela Bernarda Edwardsa, który zmarł w 1996 roku. Album zawiera 10 utworów o łącznej długości niespełna 39 minut. Wśród gości znaleźli się Mura Masa, Cosha i Vic Mensa w utworze Till the World Falls. Okładka jest hołdem dla debiutanckiego albumu Chic z 1977 roku.
