Papa Roach to amerykański zespół rockowy z Vacaville w Kalifornii, który od początku nowego tysiąclecia należy do najbardziej udanych przedstawicieli nu-metalu. W ciągu swojej kariery grupa poszukiwała nowego brzmienia, łączyła hard rock z rapem i elektroniką oraz występowała z takimi artystami jak Eminem czy Marilyn Manson.
Album Crooked Teeth ukazał się w maju 2017 roku nakładem wytwórni Eleven Seven Music jako dziewiąty album studyjny zespołu. Produkcję prowadzili Nicholas Ras Furlong, znany ze współpracy z Blink-182 czy All Time Low, oraz Colin Brittain. Płyta powraca do korzeni nu-metalu i oferuje 29 utworów na dwóch CD. Wśród wyróżnionych utworów znajdziemy Break the Fall, Born for Greatness czy Crooked Teeth. Drugi dysk zawiera zapis koncertu z Detroit. Album zadebiutował na 20. miejscu list przebojów w USA i Wielkiej Brytanii.
