Simply Red to brytyjski zespół soulowy założony w Manchesterze w 1985 roku przez wokalistę Micka Hucknalla. W ciągu kariery wydał trzynaście albumów studyjnych, które regularnie plasowały się w brytyjskiej dziesiątce, przy czym album Stars (1991) należy do największych komercyjnych sukcesów w Wielkiej Brytanii.
Kompilacja Remixed, Vol. 1 (1985–2000) ukazała się w 2021 roku na CD nakładem wytwórni EastWest i zawiera 22 zremiksowane wersje przebojów z pierwszych piętnastu lat działalności zespołu. Lista utworów obejmuje wydłużone i taneczne remixy takich utworów jak Money's Too Tight (To Mention), Stars, Fairground, Something Got Me Started czy Angel, wszystkie w remasterze z 2021 roku.
