Kompilacja Up to Now ukazała się w listopadzie 2009 nakładem wytwórni Fiction jako podsumowanie dotychczasowego dorobku zespołu. Dwupłytowy album na 2 CD obejmuje 30 nagrań — oprócz znanych singli zawiera również koncertowe wersje utworów Run i Chasing Cars, solową reinterpretację An Olive Grove Facing the Sea oraz trzy nowe piosenki, w tym singel Just Say Yes wyprodukowany przez Jacknife Lee. Kompilacja zawiera też wybór z pobocznego projektu The Reindeer Section.
W czasie wydania w skład zespołu wchodzili Gary Lightbody, Jonny Quinn, Nathan Connolly, Paul Wilson, Tom Simpson i Johnny McDaid.
