Rick Springfield to australijsko-amerykański wokalista rockowy, gitarzysta i aktor. W latach 1969–1971 był członkiem pop-rockowej grupy Zoot, następnie rozpoczął karierę solową. W USA osiągnął znaczący sukces w latach 80., kiedy stał się jednym z czołowych przedstawicieli power popu i melodyjnego rocka.
