Erroll Garner był amerykańskim pianistą jazzowym i kompozytorem znanym ze swingowego stylu gry i ballad. Jego instrumentalna ballada „Misty” stała się jazzowym standardem i została wykorzystana w filmie Play Misty for Me (1971).
Album The Unreleased Berlin Studio Recording 1967 na winylu zawiera siedem dotąd niewydanych nagrań studyjnych z berlińskiego studia z 1967 roku, które w 2023 roku wydała wytwórnia The Lost Recordings. Garner wykonuje tu jazzowe standardy, w tym Autumn Leaves, These Foolish Things, The Shadow of Your Smile oraz własny utwór Misty.
