A Place to Bury Strangers to amerykańska grupa noise rockowa z Nowego Jorku. Ich muzyka łączy psychodeliczny rock, shoegaze i space rock, tworząc gęstą, atmosferyczną ścianę dźwięku.
Album Exploding Head ukazał się w 2009 roku jako druga płyta studyjna zespołu i zarazem pierwszy tytuł wydany przez wytwórnię Mute Records. Nagranie stanowiło przełom w karierze grupy. Ta rozszerzona reedycja zawiera łącznie 20 utworów na 2CD, w tym single In Your Heart i Keep Slipping Away, demo I Lived My Life to Stand in the Shadow of Your Heart oraz cover utworu Suffragette City.
W czasie wydania płyty zespół tworzyli Oliver Ackermann (gitara, wokal), Jono Mofo (gitara basowa) i Jay Space (perkusja).
