Alestorm to szkocki zespół folk/power metalowy z Perth, który koncentruje się na tematyce pirackiej – styl określany jako „True Scottish Pirate Metal”. Grupa powstała w 2004 roku pod nazwą Battleheart.
Album Curse of the Crystal Coconut ukazał się 29 maja 2020 roku nakładem wytwórni Napalm Records. To szósty album studyjny zespołu, nagrany w tajskim studiu Krabi Road z długoletnim producentem Lassem Lammertem. Dwupłytowe wydanie w digipaku zawiera 22 utwory – pierwsza płyta prezentuje jedenaście oryginalnych nagrań, w tym single Treasure Chest Party Quest, Tortuga, Fannybaws i Pirate Metal Drinking Crew, druga płyta oferuje ich stylizowane wersje „16th Century”.
Na albumie udział wzięli Christopher Bowes, Gareth Murdock (gitara basowa), Peter Alcorn (perkusja), Elliot Vernon (klawisze) i Máté Bodor (gitara).
