Blind Guardian to niemiecka grupa power metalowa założona w połowie lat 80. w mieście Krefeld, należąca do pionierów tego gatunku. Stylistycznie łączy power metal z elementami speed metalowymi i symfonicznymi.
Album koncertowy Live ukazał się w 2003 roku nakładem wytwórni Nuclear Blast jako wydawnictwo podwójne na dwóch CD z łącznie 22 utworami. Nagrania pochodzą ze światowej trasy 2002/2003 i zostały zarejestrowane w Tokio, Sztokholmie, Wenecji, Düsseldorfie, Mediolanie, Florencji, Barcelonie, Madrycie, Moskwie, Hamburgu, Berlinie, Monachium i innych miastach. Album stanowi przekrój przez ówczesny dorobek zespołu, począwszy od wczesnego heavy metalowego po symfoniczne brzmienie. Wśród interesujących momentów znajdują się utwory Valhalla, The Bard's Song (In the Forest), Mirror Mirror czy Lord of the Rings.
Przy nagraniach udział wzięli Thomen Stauch na perkusji i instrumentach perkusyjnych, André Olbrich i Marcus Siepen na gitarach i chórkach.
