Brytyjska heavy-metalowa grupa Diamond Head została założona w 1976 roku przez gitarzystę Briana Tatlera i perkusistę Duncana Scotta. Jako jedni z pierwszych przedstawicieli tak zwanej nowej fali brytyjskiego heavy metalu (NWOBHM) wpłynęli na całe pokolenie zespołów – Metallica i Megadeth wymieniają ich jako swój główny muzyczny wpływ. Pierwotny skład oprócz założycieli tworzyli wokalista Sean Harris oraz od 1978 roku basista Colin Kimberley.
Album Lightning To The Nations (The White Album) ukazał się w 1980 roku jako debiut grupy i do dziś należy do kamieni milowych gatunku. To remasterowane wydanie na 2 CD zawiera oryginalne nagrania starannie zremasterowane z masterów z osobistego archiwum Briana Tatlera. Pierwszy dysk prezentuje znane wersje utworów takich jak Am I Evil?, The Prince czy It's Electric, ale także ich dotąd niepublikowane oryginalne miksy. Drugi dysk obejmuje bonusowe utwory Shoot Out the Lights, Streets of Gold i inne, które poszerzają obraz wczesnej twórczości zespołu.
