Dio to amerykańska grupa heavymetalowa założona w 1982 roku przez wokalistę Ronniego Jamesa Dio i perkusistę Vinny'ego Appice'a po ich odejściu z Black Sabbath. Zespół pozostał aktywny aż do śmierci Dio w 2010 roku.
Album Evil or Divine: Live in New York City na 2CD ukazał się w 2005 roku nakładem wytwórni Spitfire Records i dokumentuje koncert z grudnia 2002 roku w nowojorskim Roseland Ballroom. Nagranie zawiera 21 utworów z całej dyskografii Dio, w tym klasyki takie jak Holy Diver, Rainbow in the Dark, Heaven and Hell czy Children of the Sea. Ten sam koncert ukazał się również w formacie DVD.
Na albumie zagrali klawiszowiec Scott Warren i gitarzysta Doug Aldrich.
