Szwedzka grupa Dismember należy do pionierów szwedzkiego death metalu – założony w 1988 roku sztokholmski zespół stoi obok Entombed, Grave i Unleashed jako część szwedzkiej „wielkiej czwórki” gatunku. Ich brzmienie definiowało kształt nordyckiego death metalu w latach 90.
Album Death Metal ukazuje się na CD w reedycji z 2023 roku.
