Edenbridge to austriacki zespół symphonic metalowy prowadzony przez kompozytora Lanvalla i wokalistkę Sabine Edelsbacher. Założony w 1998 roku, zespół zbudował mocną pozycję na scenie metalu symfonicznego, łącząc ciężkie gitarowe riffy, orkiestrowe aranżacje i sopranowy wokal.
Album Shangri-La ukazał się w 2022 roku nakładem wytwórni AFM Records. Podwójny album zawiera 26 utworów podzielonych na dwa dyski — pierwszy oferuje kompletne wersje wokalne, drugi – instrumentalne wersje całego albumu. Wśród wyróżniających się utworów znajduje się osiemnastominutowy epicki At First Light, rozbudowana wieloczęściowa suita The Bonding (Part 2) oraz tytułowy The Road to Shangri-La. Album kontynuuje charakterystyczne brzmienie zespołu, łączące power metalową energię z elementami symfonicznymi.
Przy nagraniu współpracował pięcioosobowy skład: Sabine Edelsbacher (wokal), Lanvall (gitara, instrumenty klawiszowe), Dominik Sebastian (gitara), Johannes Jungreithmeier (perkusja) oraz Steve Hall (gitara basowa).
