Album Duke '78 zawiera kompletne nagranie z koncertu, który odbył się 12 kwietnia 1978 roku w Cameron Indoor Stadium na Duke University w Durham w Północnej Karolinie. Nagranie ukazuje grupę w szczytowej formie podczas wiosennego tournée i pierwotnie ukazało się jako część limitowanego boxu Friend Of The Devils: April 1978. Na 3 CD znajdziemy zarówno klasyczne utwory, jak i rozbudowane sekcje improwizowane, w tym dwudziestominutową Rhythm Devils oraz energetyczne wersje Eyes of the World, Estimated Prophet czy Truckin'.
