Steve Hackett to brytyjski gitarzysta i autor piosenek, który zasłynął jako członek progresywno-rockowej grupy Genesis, w której występował w latach 1970–1977. W 2010 roku został wraz z grupą wprowadzony do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Album Wild Orchids ukazuje się w reedycji z 2023 roku na dwóch płytach winylowych. Pierwszy LP obejmuje utwory Transylvanian Express, Waters of the Wild, Set Your Compass i A Girl Called Linda, drugi nośnik zawiera między innymi Man In the Long Black Coat, Cedars of Lebanon czy Until the Last Butterfly. Album zawiera łącznie siedemnaście utworów.
