Kadavar to berliński zespół rockowy, którego retro brzmienie łączy stoner rock, psychodelię i hard rock w duchu lat siedemdziesiątych. Trio założyli w 2010 roku gitarzysta i wokalista Christoph „Lupus” Lindemann oraz perkusista Christoph „Tiger” Bartelt.
Album For the Dead Travel Fast ukazał się w 2019 roku nakładem wytwórni Nuclear Blast jako zestaw audiowizualny w digipaku — płytę Blu-ray z nagraniami koncertowymi i materiałami dodatkowymi uzupełnia CD z 23 nagraniami. Wśród utworów znajdziemy The Devil's Master, Children of the Night, Dancing With the Dead czy siedmiominutowy Long Forgotten Song. Wydawnictwo oddaje mroczną atmosferę i okultystyczną tematykę charakterystyczną dla zespołu.
W czasie wydania albumu Kadavar tworzyli Christoph Lindemann (gitara, wokal), Christoph Bartelt (perkusja) i Simon Bouteloup (gitara basowa).
