King Crimson to brytyjska grupa rockowa założona w 1968 roku, zaliczana do pionierów rocka progresywnego. W ich muzyce mieszają się wpływy jazzu, muzyki poważnej, rocka psychodelicznego i eksperymentalnej elektroniki.
Koncertowy album Live in Vienna ukazał się w 2017 roku nakładem wytwórni Discipline Global Mobile i dokumentuje występ grupy w Wiedniu 1 grudnia 2016 roku. Wydawnictwo w postaci trzech płyt CD w digipacku zawiera 30 utworów obejmujących różne okresy twórczości zespołu – od klasycznych hymnów jak The Court of the Crimson King, Epitaph czy Starless po nowsze kompozycje, w tym cover Heroes. Album oddaje wyjątkową energię i improwizacyjną siłę zespołu na żywo.
W nagraniu uczestniczą Robert Fripp (gitara), Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison i Jeremy Stacey (perkusja), Jakko Jakszyk (wokal) oraz Chris Gibson (instrumenty klawiszowe).
