Lacuna Coil to włoska grupa gothic metalowa, znana z charakterystycznego połączenia żeńskiego i męskiego wokalu oraz melodyjnego, mrocznego brzmienia. Od powstania w 1994 roku w Mediolanie zespół wydał szereg udanych albumów i sprzedał ponad 2 miliony płyt.
Album Live From the Apocalypse ukazał się w 2021 roku nakładem wytwórni Century Media jako podwójne CD z 32 utworami. Koncertowe nagranie obejmuje utwory z albumu Black Anima, w tym Anima nera, Reckless, Apocalypse czy Black Feathers, a także specjalną apocalypse version utworu Save Me.
W czasie wydania płyty zespół tworzyli Andrea Ferro i Cristina Scabbia na wokalu, Marco Coti Zelati na gitarze basowej i klawiszach, Diego Cavallotti na gitarze oraz Richard Meiz na perkusji.
