Motörhead to brytyjski zespół metalowy założony w 1975 roku przez basistę i wokalistę Lemmy'ego Kilmistera, uznawany za jednego z prekursorów speed metalu i nowej fali brytyjskiego heavy metalu. Grupa zawsze postrzegała swoją muzykę jako rock'n'roll grany z maksymalną intensywnością i bezkompromisowym podejściem.
Podwójny album Better Motörhead than Dead: Live at Hammersmith ukazał się w 2007 roku nakładem wytwórni Steamhammer/SPV jako 2CD w digipacku. Nagranie dokumentuje kompletny jubileuszowy koncert z okazji 30-lecia zespołu z londyńskiego Hammersmith Apollo z 16 czerwca 2005 roku, podczas którego grupa zagrała przed ponad pięcioma tysiącami fanów 23 utwory, w tym Ace of Spades, Overkill, Killed by Death czy Bomber.
Na albumie grają Lemmy Kilmister (gitara basowa, wokal), Phil Campbell (gitara) i Mikkey Dee (perkusja).
