Nazareth to szkocka grupa hard rockowa założona w 1968 roku w Dunfermline. Międzynarodową sławę zdobyła w 1975 roku albumem Hair of the Dog i coverem ballady Love Hurts.
Podwójny album koncertowy Snaz ukazał się we wrześniu 1981 roku nakładem wytwórni NEMS i utrwala energię ówczesnych występów zespołu. Na 2 CD znalazło się łącznie 20 utworów, wśród których nie zabrakło klasyków takich jak Razamanaz, Hair of the Dog, Love Hurts, This Flight Tonight czy Shapes of Things. Obok koncertowych wersji hitów album zawiera także dwa utwory studyjne — Juicy Lucy i Morning Dew, które pierwotnie ukazały się jako część wydawnictwa Snaz.
W czasie nagrań skład grupy tworzyli Dan McCafferty (wokal główny), Manny Charlton, Pete Agnew, Darrell Sweet, John Locke, Jimmy Murrison oraz Lee Agnew.
