Powerwolf to niemiecka grupa power metalowa działająca od 2003 roku, znana z mrocznego wizerunku i tematyki nawiązującej do chrześcijaństwa oraz legend o wilkołakach. Zespół wydał już dziesięć albumów studyjnych.
Dwupłytowe wydanie trasowe Call of the Wild (Tour Edition) na CD to rozszerzona wersja albumu Call of the Wild. Pierwszy dysk zawiera jedenaście oryginalnych utworów, w tym Faster Than the Flame, Beast of gévaudan czy Dancing with the Dead. Drugi dysk Missa Cantorem II zawiera wszystkie utwory nagrane ponownie w duetach z gośćmi – pojawiają się między innymi Hansi Kürsch, Tommy Johansson, Melissa Bonny i inne metalowe osobistości.
