The Replacements był amerykańskim zespołem rocka alternatywnego założonym w Minneapolis w 1979 roku. Początkowo punkrockowy zespół stopniowo włączał do swojej twórczości elementy folku i power popu, stając się jednym z czołowych przedstawicieli amerykańskiej sceny post-punkowej lat 80. W ich twórczości można dostrzec wpływy Rolling Stones, Clash, Faces, a także Beatles czy Ramones.
Rozszerzone wznowienie czwartego studyjnego albumu Tim na 5 CD, które ukazało się nakładem wytwórni Rhino w 2023 roku. Jest to pierwszy album, który zespół wydał w dużej wytwórni — oryginał ukazał się nakładem Sire Records w 1985 roku. Pakiet zawiera nowy remiks Eda Stasiuma, zremasterowaną oryginalną wersję, dotąd niewydane i rzadkie nagrania, w tym nagrania demo wyprodukowane przez Alexa Chiltona, oraz dotąd niewydany zapis koncertowy ze stycznia 1986 roku. W zestawie znajduje się książka pełna zdjęć, pamiątek i notatek Boba Mehra, nagradzanego biografa zespołu. Wśród kluczowych utworów znajdują się Bastards of Young, Swingin Party, Left of the Dial i Here Comes a Regular.
