Roadrunner United był projektem wytwórni Roadrunner Records z okazji jej dwudziestej piątej rocznicy. Czterech „kapitanów” – Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) i Robb Flynn (Machine Head) – poprowadziło łącznie 57 artystów z 45 zespołów związanych z wytwórnią.
Album Concert na 3LP utrwala występ na żywo z Nokia Theatre w Nowym Jorku 15 grudnia 2005 roku, podczas którego zabrzmiały utwory powstałe w ramach studyjnych sesji projektu. Kolorowy winyl (czarny, czerwony, biały) zawiera 26 nagrań obejmujących szerokie spektrum gatunków metalowych – od thrash i death metalu po metalcore. Wśród coverów znalazły się Curse Of The Pharaohs (Mercyful Fate), Refuse/Resist (Sepultura) czy Roots Bloody Roots. Trójwinylowe wydanie to pierwszy raz, gdy ten wyjątkowy dokument sceny metalowej ukazuje się na LP.
