Sepultura to brazylijska grupa metalowa powstała w 1984 roku w Belo Horizonte. Zaliczana jest do czołowych przedstawicieli thrash metalu i groove metalu, czerpiąc w swojej twórczości także z death metalu, world music i industrial metalu.
A-Lex to jedenasty album studyjny wydany w 2009 roku przez wytwórnię Steamhammer. Jest to album koncepcyjny inspirowany powieścią Mechaniczna pomarańcza Anthony'ego Burgessa z 1962 roku, którą w 1971 roku zekranizował Stanley Kubrick. Drugi album koncepcyjny Sepultury po Dante XXI z 2006 roku. Album zawiera 18 utworów, w tym Moloko Mesto, Sadistic Values czy Ludwig Van. Wydanie winylowe na LP.
W momencie wydania albumu skład grupy tworzyli: Derrick Green (wokal), Andreas Kisser (gitara), Paulo Jr. (gitara basowa) oraz Jean Dolabella (perkusja), który był pierwszym perkusistą po odejściu założyciela Igora Cavalery w 2006 roku.
