Slash to brytyjsko-amerykański gitarzysta znany przede wszystkim z grupy Guns N' Roses, z którą pod koniec lat 80. i na początku 90. osiągnął światowy sukces. Po odejściu z zespołu w 1996 roku angażował się w różne projekty, w tym w supergrupę Velvet Revolver, a od 2010 roku wydaje albumy solowe, na których współpracuje z wokalistą Mylesem Kennedym z zespołu Alter Bridge i innymi muzykami.
Ten podwójny zestaw na 2 CD łączy albumy Living the Dream (2018) i Apocalyptic Love (2012), oba wydane pod szyldem Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators. Living the Dream to czwarty album studyjny zespołu prezentujący 12 hardrockowych utworów z kompozycjami takimi jak The Call of the Wild, Mind Your Manners czy Lost Inside the Girl. Apocalyptic Love z 2012 roku to drugi album studyjny współpracy Slasha z Mylesem Kennedym i zawiera 13 utworów, w tym Anastasia, You're a Lie i Standing in the Sun. Zestaw ukazał się w ramach akcji katalogowej wytwórni Warner Music France w 2020 roku w opakowaniu jewel case w kartonowym opakowaniu.
