Therion to szwedzki zespół symphonic metalowy założony przez Christofera Johnssona w 1987 roku. Początkowo grający death metal, z czasem rozwinął charakterystyczny styl łączący muzykę metalową z elementami orkiestrowymi, solistami i chórami. Swoim podejściem należy do pionierów gatunku symphonic metal.
Koncertowe nagranie Noc Orquesta: Live In Mexico na Blu-ray zawiera dwadzieścia utworów z meksykańskiego występu, w tym The Blood of Kingu, Tuonela, Draconian Trilogy czy To Mega Therion. Płyta zawiera bonusowy materiał z próby. Zapis dokumentuje energię koncertowego wykonania orkiestrowo zaaranżowanego repertuaru zespołu.
