UFO to brytyjski zespół hard rockowy i heavy metalowy założony w 1969 roku, zaliczany obok Iron Maiden i Motörhead do nowej fali brytyjskiego metalu. Zespół wywarł wpływ na szereg późniejszych heavymetalowych formacji, w tym Iron Maiden i Metallicę.
Force It to czwarty studyjny album UFO wydany w 1975 roku przez wytwórnię Chrysalis. Był to pierwszy album zespołu, który znalazł się na listach przebojów w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Produkcją albumu zajął się Leo Lyons z zespołu Ten Years After, na instrumentach klawiszowych gościnnie wystąpił Chick Churchill, również z Ten Years After. Okładkę zaprojektowało studio Hipgnosis. Reedycja na 2 CD zawiera 22 utwory — oryginalny studyjny album z takimi nagraniami jak Let It Roll, Shoot Shoot czy Mother Mary oraz bonusowe nagrania koncertowe z The Record Plant w Los Angeles z 1975 roku, w tym Doctor Doctor, Rock Bottom i inne.
W czasie wydania albumu w sześcioosobowym składzie zespołu grali Phil Mogg (wokal), Michael Schenker i Paul Chapman (gitary elektryczne), Pete Way (gitara basowa), Andrew Maynard Parker (perkusja) oraz Danny Peyronel (instrumenty klawiszowe).
