UFO to brytyjski zespół hard rockowy, założony w Londynie w 1968 roku, którego twórczość wywarła wpływ na szereg późniejszych metalowych zespołów, m.in. Iron Maiden, Metallicę czy Megadeth. Zespół tworzy w gatunkach hard rock i heavy metal.
Force It to czwarty studyjny album zespołu, pierwotnie wydany w 1975 roku przez wytwórnię Chrysalis. Album oznaczał przełomowy moment w karierze grupy — był to ich pierwszy album, który znalazł się na amerykańskich listach przebojów. Producentem był Leo Lyons, basista Ten Years After, na klawiszach gościnnie zagrał Chick Churchill, również z Ten Years After. Okładkę zaprojektowało studio Hipgnosis. To dwupłytowe wydanie winylowe zawiera 21 utworów, w tym występ na żywo z The Record Plant w Los Angeles z 1975 roku. Wśród kluczowych kompozycji znajdują się Let It Roll, Shoot Shoot, Mother Mary i koncertowa wersja Rock Bottom.
W chwili wydania w składzie zespołu byli Pete Way na gitarze basowej, Phil Mogg na wokalu, Andrew Maynard Parker na perkusji, Michael Schenker i Paul Chapman na gitarach elektrycznych oraz Danny Peyronel na klawiszach.
