Edgar Winter to amerykański multiinstrumentalista, klawiszowiec i saksofonista, znany z działalności w latach 70. z grupami Edgar Winter Group i Edgar Winter's White Trash. Jego starszy brat Johnny Winter był bluesowym gitarzystą.
Album Brother Johnny ukazał się w kwietniu 2022 roku na CD nakładem wytwórni Quarto Valley Records. Nagrania powstały w Capitol Studios i EastWest Studios w Hollywood, producentami byli Ross Hogarth i sam Winter. W 17 utworach wystąpiło wiele gwiazd – gitarzyści Joe Walsh, Billy Gibbons, Derek Trucks, Steve Lukather, Warren Haynes i inni, perkusiści Ringo Starr i Kenny Aronoff, wokalista Michael McDonald oraz bluesowy gitarzysta Joe Bonamassa.
