Xentrix to brytyjski zespół thrash metalowy z Preston w hrabstwie Lancashire, uważany za jedną z „wielkiej czwórki” angielskiego thrash metalu obok Acid Reign, Onslaught i Sabbat. Zespół działa od 1984 roku, początkowo pod nazwą Sweet Vengeance.
For Whose Advantage? to drugi album studyjny grupy, wydany w 1990 roku przez wytwórnię Dissonance Productions. Nastąpił po debiucie Shattered Existence z 1989 roku i umocnił pozycję Xentrix na brytyjskiej scenie thrash metalowej przełomu lat osiemdziesiątych i dziewięćdziesiątych. Album zawiera 16 utworów, w tym tytułowy For Whose Advantage?, Questions, False Ideals oraz cztery bonusy koncertowe – Balance of Power, Kept in the Dark, Crimes i Ghostbusters.
W czasie nagrywania albumu skład tworzyli Chris Astley, Dennis Gasser, Kristian Havard i Paul MacKenzie.
