The Beach Boys to amerykańska grupa rockowa założona w kalifornijskim Hawthorne w 1961 roku. Oryginalny skład tworzyli bracia Brian, Dennis i Carl Wilson, ich kuzyn Mike Love oraz przyjaciel Al Jardine. Zespół znany jest z harmonii wokalnych, piosenek o kalifornijskim stylu życia oraz muzycznej inwencji czerpiącej z rock and rolla, rhythm and blues i jazzowych wpływów.
Winylowy box Sail On Sailor 1972 (Deluxe Box) koncentruje się na przejściowym, lecz artystycznie bogatym okresie zespołu z początku lat 70. Zawiera albumy studyjne Carl and the Passions – „So Tough” i Holland wraz z bonusowym EP Mount Vernon and Fairway, który pierwotnie ukazał się jako dodatek do albumu Holland. W zestawie znajduje się także rzadki koncertowy zapis z Carnegie Hall z listopada 1972, utrwalający zespół w szczytowej formie z hitami jak Good Vibrations, California Girls czy God Only Knows. Box zawiera również dotąd niewydane nagrania oraz nowe miksy z 2022 roku.
