Angielska heavymetalowa grupa Black Sabbath należy do pionierów gatunku. Zespół założyli w 1968 roku w Birmingham wokalista Ozzy Osbourne, gitarzysta Tony Iommi, basista Geezer Butler i perkusista Bill Ward. Grupa stworzyła charakterystyczny styl z mocnymi gitarowymi riffami i horrorowymi tekstami.
Album Vol.4 z 1972 roku należy do kamieni milowych heavy metalu. To superluksusowe wydanie box set na pięciu CD zawiera nowo zremasterowaną wersję oryginalnego albumu z 2021 roku, outtakes w miksie Stevena Wilsona, alternatywne nagrania utworów takich jak Wheels of Confusion, Supernaut czy Snowblind, oraz kompletny zapis koncertowy z trasy po Wielkiej Brytanii w 1973 roku w miksie Richarda Digby Smitha.
