Metal Church to amerykańska grupa thrash metalowa z San Francisco (później Seattle), założona w 1980 roku. W połowie lat 80. należała do czołowych przedstawicieli ruchu Bay Area Thrash i znalazła się na listach przebojów w USA i Niemczech. Koncertowała u boku Testament, Overkill, King Diamond i Metalliki.
Album Final Sermon (Live In Japan 2019) jest koncertowym zapisem ostatniego występu zespołu z wokalistą Mikiem Howem, który był członkiem grupy w „klasycznym okresie” w latach 1988–1994 oraz ponownie między 2015 a 2021. Wydanie na limitowanym kolorowym winylu upamiętnia trzecią rocznicę jego śmierci w 2021 roku. Koncert obejmuje 14 utworów, w tym Damned if you do, Fake Healer, Beyond the Black i Badlands.
