Kamelot to amerykański zespół power metalowy z Tampy na Florydzie, założony w 1987 roku przez gitarzystę Thomasa Youngblooda. Kapela włączyła do swojej muzyki elementy metalu symfonicznego i progresywnego i należy do najbardziej znanych przedstawicieli sceny power metalowej.
Album koncertowy I Am the Empire: Live From the 013 ukazał się w sierpniu 2020 roku nakładem wytwórni Napalm Records jako czteropłytowy zestaw na Blu-ray. Jest to trzeci album koncertowy zespołu i druga wydana na DVD/Blu-ray rejestracja na żywo. Zapis przedstawia występ w venue 013, podczas którego wykonano łącznie 63 utwory, w tym Phantom Divine (Shadow Empire), Veil of Elysium, March of Mephisto czy Forever. W albumie gościnnie wystąpiły wokalistki Lauren Hart, Elize Ryd, Alissa White-Gluz oraz Charlotte Wessels.
W czasie nagrania skład tworzyli wokalista Tommy Karevik, założyciel i gitarzysta Thomas Youngblood, klawiszowiec Oliver Palotai, basista Sean Tibbetts, perkusista Alex Landenburg, a na wokalach towarzyszących Elize Ryd i Alissa White-Gluz.
