Motörhead to brytyjski zespół rockowy założony w 1975 roku przez Iana „Lemmy'ego” Kilmistera, uważany za prekursora nowej fali brytyjskiego heavy metalu i jedną z grup kształtujących speed metal.
Iron Fist ukazało się w kwietniu 1982 roku nakładem wytwórni Bronze Records (reedycja BMG) i osiągnęło 6. miejsce na brytyjskich listach przebojów. Tytułowy singel „Iron Fist” dotarł do 29. pozycji. Ten potrójny winyl to wydanie z okazji 40. rocznicy, zawierające zremasterowany album, studyjne dema z października 1981 roku (Jacksons studio), w tym alternatywną wersję Young & Crazy, oraz pełny koncert na żywo z Glasgow Apollo z marca 1982 roku z utworami Heart of Stone, Loser i The Hammer. Łącznie zawiera 37 nagrań na trzech płytach winylowych.
Na albumie wzięli udział Lemmy Kilmister (gitara basowa, wokal), Phil „Philthy Animal” Taylor (perkusja), Eddie Clarke (gitara) oraz Brian Robertson (gitara). Dla klasycznego trio Lemmy-Clarke-Taylor był to ostatni wspólny album.
