Saxon to brytyjska grupa heavymetalowa, będąca jednym z kluczowych przedstawicieli new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM). Ich muzykę charakteryzują mocne gitarowe riffy, wyrazisty wokal Biffa Byforda oraz teksty nawiązujące do historii, mitologii i tematyki militarnej.
Podwójny album koncertowy The Eagle Has Landed, Pt. 3 na 2 CD został nagrany podczas europejskiej trasy w latach 2004–2005 i uwiecznia energię sceniczną zespołu na koncertach w Niemczech, Szwecji, Francji, Anglii oraz na festiwalu Wacken. Pierwsza płyta zawiera 15 utworów zarejestrowanych głównie w 2005 roku w miastach takich jak Sztokholm, Norymberga, Hamburg, Berlin i Fulda, w tym klasyki Wheels of Steel, Warrior czy Crusader. Druga płyta przynosi kolejnych 17 nagrań z koncertów w Paryżu, Londynie i Kilonii z 2004 roku, wśród nich Lionheart, Man & Machine oraz cover Court of The Crimson King. Album dokumentuje zespół w pełnej koncertowej formie i potwierdza ich reputację jednej z najzgranszych formacji brytyjskiego heavy metalu.
